The Drawing Journal #1

The Drawing Journal is a journal that instructs children between the ages of 5 to 12, to use their creativity and imagination in drawing pictures.  Every child loves to draw and this book allows them to explore their minds and do their own thing.  Once completed, it serves as a keepsake for the family.  The Drawing Journal becomes a story about them and can be passed on to their own children.  Pictures show us love, laughter, happiness, dreams, fears, and much more.  It’s fun for the child, as well as the parent, teacher, or childcare provider.  It’s benefits are many, and the finished product . . . priceless.

Kathleen Hutchinson is a wife, a mother of four, and a grandmother of ten.  She writes poems, short stories, and loves to journal.  One of her poems titled, Oklahoma April was published in the Poetry Guild, A Celebration of Poets, in 1997.  She’s currently taking a mail-course in freelance writing which has helped her understand more about the writing world.  The Drawing Journal #1 is her first published book with nine more in waiting.  She works full-time in a factory, loves spending time with her family, and enjoys camping.  She believes strongly in God and country and her message to everyone is, “If you have a dream, follow it.”
