About the Book

Starting with a surprising encounter in Northern India between Amber and Eric which raises seemingly unanswerable questions, the story unravels effortlessly through their relived memories of past lifetimes. From present day New York and India to Ancient Egypt, the reader is entertained by a thought-provoking roller-coaster of mystical and romantic adventures. Universal teachings about the meaning of life, death, in-between states, time, and timelessness are skillfully interwoven with vivid depictions of the life and customs of ancient cultures. Guided by a wise hermit-lama, Amber and Eric travel back to find the reasons for their encounter and to learn about the karmic obstacles in their path.

What past event is preventing them from connecting fully in the here and now? Why would they meet again in this lifetime, if it is not to experience the physical attraction and the feelings they share? Will the shamanic teachings of the powerful medicine-woman who lived in the Himalayan wilderness of 14th Century Nepal help them in their quest? The reader will stay riveted through the smooth transitions between past and present, and travel with Amber and Eric in all of the seven directions.
