About the Book

Rap ‘n Read fuses the contemporary flavor of Hip Hop/ Rap music  with the traditional method of repetition in reading

Repetition is an important key to learning.  From the gifted to the remedial reader, the written word, paired with the power of rhythm, makes reading upbeat and fun.

An exciting new supplementary reader with multi-cultural appeal, RAP ‘n READ is a unique educational tool that targets children from grades K-8, yet can also be used as a pre-reading motivator for preschoolers.

Everybody’s way is RIGHT!  As each verse is read, the reader creates a unique rhythm and beat.  This encourages individuality in children, and boosts confidence in even the most reluctant readers.

RAP ‘n READ is a must for classrooms, homes, businesses and libraries.  It’s the perfect media to keep a child occupied while in long lines, waiting rooms or vehicles.  Background music and freestyle expression may be applied.

Educational Benefits:

  • Promotes early reading readiness skills
  • Reinforces reading comprehension
  • Builds stronger reading, listening and speaking skills
  • Encourages rhythm and pattern recognition

Mix the words and beat
that come from your heart
Now that’s a start!

Soon you’ll see
You have a need
to RAP ‘n READ!
