About the Author

Diane Bostwick brings a degree in American Studies and a background in journalism to her approach in creating a slice of Jamaican life.

The novel is based on her husband’s adventures she shared owning a restaurant in Jamaica during the 1970’s.  It took time for life experiences to put it all in perspective.

The author’s husband still visits Jamaica.  The author stopped in 1990 so she could remember as it was while writing about the era.

After living between Jamaica and Palm Beach for twenty years, the author and her husband divide their time between the woods of Unionville, Pennsylvania and the equestrian suburb of Wellington, Florida.  They share digs with a couple of horses and golden retrievers.
