About the Author
Mr. Fendrich was born on November 18, 1924 in Washington, DC. He attended public schools in Washington, and subsequently, was commissioned in the Navy and awarded a BS from Dartmouth College in 1946
His early business career was in sales and market research. In 1969
Mr. Fendrich began to travel to Europe. During the seventies his writing turned from business to poetry. Mr. Fendrich is the Editor of The Angelus Newsletter, the publication of a national prayer ministry.
In 1939, when he was a Boy Scout in Washington, D. C., Mr. Fendrich represented his troop during a visit to the White House where he met King George VI and the late Queen Mother. This was the beginning of a life-long love of England, its people, and its countryside.
