About the Book

Economic, community, and workforce development will fail unless working families have access to affordable quality early care and education environments.

Starting Up  Developing Public/Private Partnerships For Early Care and Education provides interested community leaders with a template for success.

This hands-on publication provides technical assistance to those interested in “Starting Up” a new facility.  From Chapter One, Partners To The Table, the information in this book demonstrates how to do a Needs Assessment, define corporate structure, locate resources, select allocation or building, secure financial resources, budgets, staff, program, and parent support.  It’s all there.
