TOO STRESSED TO BE

The world is so full of a number of stressful things. Life never is easy; there’ll be difficult days. Days when problems like clouds hide the sun’s golden rays. However, when we are stressed and we would like to be dead, we ought to stop and think ahead. If it had not been for the Lord, who was on our side, we would be walking in that zigzag pattern to and fro our destination. We would be fearful and afraid and filled with terror by night. However, our trust is in the Lord. After all, because we recipients of His promise, we are well grounded in His word
These are trying times. These are merely the times God’s has foretold, which will try our souls. As a result, if we are fearful and afraid, God cannot use us in his army. We need to turn around now and go home. For the worst is yet to come. What man is there that is fearful and faint-hearted? Let him go and return unto his house--Deu. 20:8.
America we are too weak to fight the good fight of faith and to strive for eternal life. Again, we are faltering because of the fear of a fateful future?
There are avenues of flags, flying in the cemeteries today. Honoring the servicemen, who served our country, in lands far away. They were patriotic and loyal soldiers in warfare of this world. However, there’s a spiritual warfare going on throughout this world. We are fighting against not flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore, Paul has reminded us to be sure then very sure that we have on our proper garment in this warfare. Eph. 6:12. It’s not about who has the most or highest tech ammunitions. In other words, who can be the first to wipe out the world? But this war is about being totally wrapped up in God’s word.
We are trying to fight this spiritual battle with physical power and strength. But it is a spiritual battle. After our nation’s worst tragedies, 9-11, we were again tormented with fear. We were alerted nationwide of a one-man battle. A terrorist from within. Bang! Bang! Comply or someone will die. Millions are at risk of a single bullet fired from within this land and from millions fired from without.
From Desert Shield to Desert Storm to the Iraqi Desert, some will die, they all were warned. Our pilots flew above to free the land from Saddam’s hand. They flew with all their hopes and dreams, deep in their hearts were silent screams. Hidden fears each had to bear, some unsure why they were there. They left their families to give their country all they had. Putting first the land they loved. Counting on their God above, to keep them safe from harm’s way, and praying they would go home some day. Their courage great, they were so brave, thinking of the lives they would save. If only they could stop, it would be worth the time they would spend to bring this war to an end. So sad to think that lives were lost. But that is the cost, for the fear of this single bullet.
Millions are ducking and dodging in and out of the streets in fear of this single bullet from within and the threat of ones from far lands. However, what is most freighting is we are not afraid of the one that has power over the one that is firing this bullet. But we are afraid of the one firing the shots. Heed the warning:
Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Fore God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Es.12: 13
[He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. Ps.10: 8-11.]
How many times must a man fall down, before we can call the killer by name?
How many times must someone dies, before we know who’s to blame?
How many times must we ignore God’s calls, before this nation goes up in flame?
The answer my friend is flowing in His word, the answer is flowing in the word.
Lord, why are you allowing these terrorist attacks to decrease our trust in our law enforcers? Why are the lives of the innocent being cut off? How can you be such a great?
Nevertheless, we’ve tried to put our trust in our law enforcers for they have assured US that they had our backs. Subsequently, our backs are not at stake here. It seem as through our heads and hearts are the deathblow target.
There is a lesson to be learned from this tragedy. It made no difference if we were living morally right, red, yellow, black or white, or if we were living in that fast life. We could have been on the church doorstep. I remotely believe if we were not protected under God’s umbrella of faith, we could have been likely the next victims. We must take Him everywhere we go. We are going to need Him in these trying hours.
Who or what is protecting our hearts and mind from this wickedness. Has God fallen short of his promise? No my friend, God does not will that we choose evil, but rather gives us the option to choose good or evil, life or death. God cannot fall short of his promise. He will not change his ways, but we most change from our wicked ways and seek his face, then His promise to US He must and He will fulfill. We must not look into the face of doom. Because blinding are the eyes of deceit. We must not listen to the voice of doubt; loud is the sound of confusion. We cannot give in to the anger of fear, lest we become its prisoner. We must not feed the beast of destruction, for it will eat us alive.
I have been convinced that this nation has fallen from the grace and the knowledge of God. As a result, we’ve been in turmoil and despair since the terrorist attack on 9-11. Which also convinces me that Go

HAND WRITING ON THE FALLEN WALL... captured my attention.
Now we in America have been living under some serious warnings lately. It seems as though every day the news media dispenses to us another set of warnings and how we might somehow find a path of safety in a terrorist-filled environment. We as individuals, we as a nation have been put on the highest alert, we're told, because there is a severe and deadly danger existing and it threatens us in the most unexpected ways. And this produces a new fear, a new anxiety that we all live with. But the truth of the matter is, these are religious terrorists whose deadly lies are hidden under superficial morality, under religious ceremony and they are more destructive than terrorists who can kill the body because their kind of terrorism destroys the soul forever. They kill people eternally.
