FORWARD
I
believe I am being led by God to write these things down. He has given me a burning desire to help my
fellow believers to not just know of Him, but to know Him intimately. To hear His voice and be led comforted,
taught, the word revealed, and much more.
To be aware of Jesus’ presence when He speaks. To help them find ways to encourage God to
manifest Himself to them. Not that we
can twist Gods arm in any way and make him do our biding. However, I know these things are possible,
because he has reveled Himself to me in many different ways over the
years. He speaks to me in that secret
place in my mind. He has shown His
angels to me, and came and sat on my hospital room bed for a chat when I had
open-heart surgery.
Most
of what I am writing has been drawn from my own experience by learning from my
mistakes and searching with a great hunger and zeal to find God. To know Him personally is His reality. I want to help others be aware of their
source, be it their own thought, Gods voice, or the enemy.
I
will endeavor to explain in non-church terms wherever possible, as this kind of
vocabulary hindered my understanding in my search for God. I have researched in the word of God every
thing I have been show by the Lord, tested my source by grounding it thoroughly
in the word. I have tested my spiritual
hearing by the test that is in the book and by prayer. I found early in my search to use research
helps such as the Strong’s Concordance, a Topical Bible, Greek Bible, many
Bible Translations, my little affordable computer program and many others.
I
may leave a lot to be desired as man’s scholarly wisdom goes, however as I have
evolved from one area of God’s teaching to another. I have found many keys to
opening the avenues to and through the Holy Spirit. By no means has yours truly arrived at the
pinnacle of understanding of what Father God is all about. To my way of thinking, it is impossible for
anyone in this life to know all about the God that created the universe. All we can do is strive to put into action
all we comprehend of His word. Leaving
the rest up to His Holy Spirit, but we must learn to access the Holy Spirit as
it is expressed in His word. In my
search I have striven to ignore and overlook the pharisaical head knowledge of
the Saul’s in the church, and strive to be more like Paul who was changed in a
few moments in the presence of the lord Jesus Christ on the road to

PARABLE OF THE LAMP
Mark
4:21-25
21 And He was saying to them, "A lamp is
not brought to be put under a peck-measure, is it, or under a bed? Is it not
brought to be put on the lamp stand?
22 "For nothing is hidden, except to be
revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it should come
to light.
23 "If any man
has ears to hear, let him hear."
“Breaker,
Breaker! Do you have your ears on? Come back, over!” Do you have ears to hear with? Can you hear that wee small voice in your
head? Read verse 22 over, and meditate
on it, it says what it says. Can
anything be more clear? Are you one of those outsiders everything comes in parables to?
24 And He was saying to them, "Take care what you
listen to. By your standard of measure it shall be measured to you; and
more shall be given you besides.
Nice, huh?
The
first part of verse 24 is telling them to be careful what they hear, because
you can hear more than one voice in your head.
This is a clear warning, but we’ve read in the book the answer to this
dilemma, and it’s the test.

About the Book
The author Dan Dawson on many occasions was awaken
in the middle of the night with information to put in this book, Jesus came and
sat on the end of his hospital room bed for a talk, and he has been given many
visions. The author has been given a burning desire to help fellow believers to
not just know about God, but to know Him intimately. To hear His voice, be
lead, comforted, taught, the Word revealed, and much more. For as it is found
in the Word: John 8:47 "He who is of God hears the (Rhema)
words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God.
" That my friend is stingy! In this book you will find ways to encourage
God to manifest Himself to you, to be aware of Jesus' presence, learn to use
the test found in the word to separate the enemy's voice from God's, to find
out what truly being save is, and much more. Scripture is written out for you
in this book as you advance through its pages you will find it is totally
grounded in the Word.
About the Author
Dan Dawson was mandated by God to write this book in
spite of his lack of spelling and literary skills. When he asked God why He had
picked him for this task, God said, "Anyone that knows you will know I did
this." God told Dan to write about hearing His voice and the various safe
ways He communicates with His people.
Dan is a home designer, and builder. After 28 years
on the Denver Fire Department he has retired with a disability. Dan is a
commercial pilot, and has been a machinist. He was in the Army as aircraft
mechanic, and military policeman in the 101st Airborne Division.
At the age of 16 God spoke to Dan, and told him to
go outside into a warm summer rain, kneel down and be baptized. Upon doing so
God said, "Now you are a son of God." Dan stomped back into the
house, saying to himself, "This must be the devil talking to me, because I
know there is only one Son of God, Jesus Christ. Years later he read the bible
for himself and found he could be a son of God, and many other things.
