About the Book

The story takes place in the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee around the turn of the century 1799.

Two little boys ages 7 and 9 are sent to get a Christmas tree, but unknown to them there is a special Faerie in the wilderness guarding her tree and the entire forest.

The boys and the faerie learn valuable lessons in honesty and compromise along the way.

About the Author

Marilyn Milliet Meilleur was born in New Orleans, La. in 1936.  Father from New Orleans, Mother from Cajun country in Louisiana.  Heritage also consists of great-grandmother from Romania and grandfather from Yugoslavia.

Loves to dance, write poetry, avid reader, loves to research, loves being outdoors. 

Writes a children's column, a cliff hanger, for the Hancock Focus, in Bay St. Louis, Ms., under the pen name of "Gypsy Grannie".

Is a member of the Gulf Coast Writers Association.

Storyteller at festivals and Gulfview elementary school, in Clermont Harbor, Ms.

Mother of three grown children, grandmother of  seven, great-grandmother of  one.
