About the Book
In Hearing The Silent Cry, Seeing The Invisible Pain, Lanston Sylvester takes each reader on a journey that explores the root of our young people’s pain and anger. Follow him on this journey as you will gain a greater awareness of the consequences of a broken family and greater compassion for our children’s confusion.
About the Author
Lanston Sylvester was born in Trinidad, W.I. and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He has worked as a public school teacher, pastor and youth leader. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakwood College in Huntsville, AL and his Master’s of Divinity degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Andrews University.
He and his wife Raquel live in Dallas, TX with their two daughters and son: Gabrielle, Alyvia and Julius. He has preached and held workshops across the U.S., Canada, Bermuda, Costa Rica and South Africa.
