The book is based on a true story. It explains the type of suffering one experiences when discovering that their marriage partner is having an affair. Divorce always brings pain and suffering. It hurts, especially if you are the rejected partner. The story explains how my desperation to save my marriage led me to make the wrong decisions. The story also tells how trusting in God through prayer and perseverance led me to victory.
Ryan and I were married for nine years and we had always considered our marriage a happy one. I never thought that one day my husband would jeopardize his marriage, family life and everything he had just to satisfy his lustful desires to be with another woman.
The book also explains some of the signs that I observed in my husband’s behavior while he carried out his affair and prior to his leaving me on Christmas morning.

About the Author
The author, a current police officer of twelve years, has always found herself helping her comrades by listening and comforting them during their troubled marriages and divorces. Not knowing, that someday she would be going through the same difficult episode herself. Refusing to become another statistic in the high divorce rate among police officers, she desperately fought to save her marriage. Although she endured a tragic divorce, she continues to comfort, teach and share her experiences with other troubled couples in the police force. The constant replaying in her mind of her husband’s betrayal led her to write her first book.
