Paul: What is in your heart Donald? Why do you get sick?
D: Maybe because I work too hard?
P: Is that the only reason you get sick?
D: I ask myself that same question many times.
P: In my experience with other people, they absorb, in some degree, negative vibrations given off by others around them. You should learn to be more discreet and not absorb everything like a sponge.
You should not be very adventurous; even your friend, the healer, has told you to be very careful and discriminating.
D: I try to be careful and search for the truth.
P: Just because it is there, you should be careful what you absorb. Many things are disguised as truth.
Does it follow that everything served you, you should taste? Of course not. You should be very careful.
How would you know if the food served before you is poisoned? The food looks good, smells good and maybe will also taste good. But inside your body, the food can create poison and kill you.
D: What can I do to protect myself?
P: Think positively all the time. In that capacity, I find Annie more advanced than you. She has learned to steel herself from negative thoughts. Spiritually she is stronger than you. Draw from that strength, her reserved strength, because she is one of the most faithful people we have encountered, not only physically, but in her thoughts as well. Try to be faithful.
D: I feel that too, which is why I like to be with her.
P: That is the journey that every human has. And that is how we learn.
D: How can I prepare my body so it will become stronger and not get so sick?
P: Be faithful in your thoughts. Do not punish yourself [Reflecting over past mistakes].

Dr. Donald McDowall is a second generation Chiropractor in private practice since 1974.
