"Hey! I didn't know you lived around here.
You're with the special projects, huh?"
"That's right," covering her eyes from the
sun. " I thought it was you I saw. Can't stay away from the ocean. I just
live about a mile up that way, and run here every morning. It's so nice here
when it's early. So quiet." She looked up at the sky, down again and out
to sea. "The air is great. The breeze."
Catherine had remembered seeing her at a company
breakfast. She was unforgettable. The brief encounter had left her a little
distracted from business, and today she was reminded why. Her smile was just so engaging and the gaze
was unrelenting. Catherine began to feel the sweat once more.
"Want a mimosa? I just made a pitcher."
Her friend nodded.
" Have a seat, but watch out for the hatch
door. I just oiled it." Catherine
kept talking as she disappeared into the boat.
" How far do you run?"
"Five miles. That is just enough to break a
sweat and get my mind focused. You know...where everything is clear and your
brain starts to work again!" She looked at her watch. "My time has
gotten a little slower, though. Do you run?"
Catherine pulled herself through the hatch opening
and sat opposite her, offering her the drink. "No, I'd rather sail. Or
drive. Or ride horses. I guess running is more painful for me," she
laughed. "I never really thought about why I don't run."
"Well, I've never been sailing", she said.
"Is it hard?"
"It's just a matter of learning the ropes. I'm
sorry, I'm bad with names. What is your name again?"
"Lynette, but I go by Lynnie. It's more casual,
like me." She took a sip of the drink, careful not to let her eye contact
slip away. Her green eyes were as demanding as the sea--- -tugging at Catherine
for a response. Seconds passed as Catherine became prisoner of a splendid
moment, caught between the spaces of unspoken words and glimpsing the beautiful
lips that were holding them. She snapped back into reality.

Sweat was beading off their bodies, with legs
intertwined and breathing audibly heavy. Catherine felt her sense of control
slipping away, the tension mounting. Her arms were pinned together as she felt
her breast being gently and deliciously kissed ...over and over again. Lips against hers, so indescribably soft, so
delicate and yet, purposefully finding their way to her ear and neck. Unable to
free her hands she gave in to the wicked request to submit control. Her back arched
and sweat rolled down her side. She felt the intention of a tongue gently but
forcefully push its way into her mouth. Breasts lay against breasts. The waves
had begun and were yearning to be satisfied. She watched her nipples respond,
hardening with the intensity of the moment. She cried out to be free and it was
soon that freedom arrived. They lay together now, having shared a unity of
pleasure, and would sleep for another hour, embraced, wind blowing gently
through the boat and the music still playing.
Time did not matter...only moments.
The sun was setting when she went up on deck,
cradling itself against an orange horizon, crested by restless whitecaps. She
pulled back her hair and fastened it loosely, taking a quick look out onto a
quiet harbor in the distance. It was beautiful out here on the ocean. No other boats were in sight. Funny how
people would just buy boats and let them stay tied up at the dock. She felt a
hand reach around her chest and gently rest on her breast. A finger tugged through
her dark blonde hair, removing the clasp. She felt a little kiss on her neck.
