Written in diary format, Marked for Destruction
invites the reader to be a part of the storytelling process. The main character, Malina Wylie, is talking
directly to the reader. She has to
understand herself as an individual, as well as, understand the situations she
allows herself to get into.
Marked for Destruction covers some points of
Malina’s childhood to adulthood, past to the present, and the terrible ordeals
she encountered, especially, during the year 2001. She had to choose between life and death. On the road with a long distance truck
driver, Malina was molested, held hostage, and brainwashed.
