The Obstinate fluids
Of melancholy dominates my soul,
Seeding, forming, growing,
In the catacombs of Passion, lurid
Lights, burning fierce and deep,
Harsh rivers furiously roaring,
Darkness.
Gloom topples the impassioned
Quiver-
The giddy head.
And a butt of pain ensconced
In the heart, ignites
A brimming agony in the
Flight of my bird-like soul.
. . .ARMAGGEDON. . .
In the beginning,
There was fire,
And love clothed
In cold, nude freedom,
One singing the serenade of steel,
The other-
A soft gentle lyric
Of eternal promise.
Man saw the green dream of love
But chose the vermillion of fire
And all raged, raw and red
In her flaming finesse
Till our world became
One global pyre of gold. . .
