About the Book

Most parts of the country had sightings of UFO’s by July 1949.  But nothing happened in the state of New Jersey until the author made a simple but unique experiment.  After that it is pretty sure that the navigators of at least some of these ships figuratively placed a red pin on their navigation charts of New Jersey at the small town of Wickatunk.  The experiences that followed changed the life of the author forever.  This is not, however, an abduction type story.

Through his association with a recluse known only as deClermont, he learned the secrets hitherto unknown to our historians.  The history of Gamma answers myriad’s of questions previously unexplained.

About the Author

Born and raised in New Jersey, Ed always displayed a wide range of interests in both the arts and sciences. His first real passion however was ham radio.  Building his own rig, by age twenty his second identity became W2MLH. During World War II he served in the army air corps and subsequently worked as a civilian electronics instructor for the military.

During his thirty-year career in engineering, his designs in flow measurement found their way on board NASA’s Mercury and Gemini missions and onto the Polaris submarine.  He has published several articles on cryogenics, holds five patents in related fields and has founded a manufacturing company.

In his spare time, Ed pursued his interests in sailing, oil and watercolor painting and spelunking, where he has contributed to the mapping of several wild caves with the Explorers club.

In 1983 Ed and his wife Evelyn retired to Florida where he authored a newspaper column, pursued his interest in horticulture and prepared a second book of short stories.

Ed passed away on July 20, 2000 and his final wish was to publish this book.

“We are a compilation of all the people we have ever met and of all the things we have heard or read.  The degree of our maturity depends on our ability to discern truth from falsehood and to avoid extremism in all forms, then live true to our beliefs.”    EJB
