EQUIPPING THE SAINTS FOR EFFECTIVE SPIRITUAL WARFARE

This Book is dedicated to every Child of God, whose desire is to know God in a greater light. Those seeking to develop an intimate relationship with God and to those whose goal is perfecting their walk with God in victory. Finally, those of us needing the knowledge to know who we are as the Church of God, the Body of Christ. My prayer is that God reveals to everyone who read this book, what He has revealed to me, through the study, mediation and research in His Word while preparing this book, in Jesus Name.

This book should help you become a well trained and effective Christian Warrior in Christ. You should develop a knowledge of your enemy, his mission and objectives. You will be able to learn, what is needed to loose, dissolve, and undo the works of the enemy. Paul talking to the Roman Church makes an intense statement. "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us," Romans’ 8:37. In saying this, Paul mentions two important items: 1. "We are more than conquerors," we need not fight the battles Jesus fought and won for humanity. But, we receive the spoils. Col. 2:15 Read, "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he (Jesus) made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. I like the way the Amplified Bible says it, [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. 2. "Through Him that loved us," God wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. By putting all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to us, His Church. Which is his body, the fulness of him that fills all in all, Ephesians 1:20-23.

In our zeal, we quickly run to do battle before we are properly trained and equipped. Paul referring to Israel states, "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge" Romans 10:2. Paul’s testimony bore witness about Israel’s zealousness for God. (Israel was called "the God-intoxicated people.") Paul had to recognize, however, that their zeal is not based on (lit., "according to") knowledge "intensive, full knowledge." The Jews obviously had knowledge of God but not full knowledge. Otherwise, they would not have stumbled over Christ by seeking to gain their own righteousness based on works. It is the same way with us. This book will help you in doing your works of God or for God. You will gain full understanding and interpretation of the scriptures to avoid defeat by the devil. It helps by revealing our ignorance or like of knowledge on Spiritual Warfare. It will help you know, what the Spirit of God is revealing to the Church in these latter days (see John 16:13-14). The keys are commitment, relationship, and understanding in Christ Jesus.

Jesus’ disclosure of the vine in John 15 revealed, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing". Paul confirmed this in writing to the Roman Saints. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death", Romans 8:1-2. Our ignorance allows the Enemy to defeat us, he then accuses God before us, once we accept that God allowed or worst God was the cause of our defeat, Satan goes to work on us with afflictions, doubt, and whatever he deceives us into believing, causing us to be ineffective against him. We began fighting to hold on to our salvation (being on the defensive, instead of the offensive). We become no threat to his kingdom, but he is a constant threat to us in God’s Kingdom.

This book will help you understand and gain knowledge about the weapons used for Spiritual Warfare. 2 Cor. 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. This book will help you understand the field of battle. Ephesians 6:12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places and 2 Cor. 10:5, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Because of these reasons, this lesson plan was devised to help the Saint of God, become equipped, trained and prepared for effective warfare.

Minister Alan A. Hill, is a Minister called of God, sent to teach and preach the Word of Truth. He was born-again into the Family of God, January 12, 1983. God has increased his measure of the gift and relationship in the Holy Spirit. Continually praying in the Spirit has surrendered his prayer life to the Holy Ghost. Again, around two years later, he was called by Audible Voice of God saying, "Go, Preach and Teach My Word." Now, doors opened to  exhort, teach, and declare the Word of God, under the anointing of the Holy Ghost to various congregations, with signs following. Two years ago, God spoke to his spirit while praying, giving him a burden for a special Ministry. The Lord told him to call it "The Word of Truth Ministries.” The Ministry would be to help the Saints of God realize their New Covenant Rights, Privileges, Powers, and Responsibility in the Kingdom of God.

 Currently, he is an Evangelistic Minister of the Gospel, a License Minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.), and Internationally Licensed by the Universal Ministries. His Credentials of Ministry is with the Universal Life Church, headquartered in Medford, Ill. The Word of Truth Ministries is a registered, Unincorporated Nonprofit Association, under the State of California. He has an Associate of Divinity, Baccalaureate of Ministry,  Religious Counseling, Biblical Studies, Master of Pastoral Counseling, at the School of Theology, Universal Ministries. He’s achieved his Master of Arts in Theology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology under the Regents of Parkwood University. He has extensive Biblical Studies with the Rhema Bible School, under the Kenneth Hagin Ministries. He has received further biblical teachings by the Charles Capps Ministries and a member of the Kenyon Gospel Publishing Society.

The burden of the Word of Truth Ministries is to help bring the Word of Faith to people in need, especially those in need of Divine Healing. The Ministry's objection is to enlighten, illuminate, and reveal the Power of God through His Word and by His Spirit. The prophet Isaiah stated, Who has believed our report and to whom has the Arm of Lord been revealed. The Arm of the Lord Isaiah referred to, was revealed in the Son of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and Redemption. God worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue."

God has also given Min. Hill a vision of creating and developing a Gospel Academy. The academy will center on the teachings and examples’ Jesus left for the Church, His Body. It will focus on the Acts of the Holy Spirit and the Letters to the New Testament Church. Relating also, the types and shadows of the Old Testament, as examples of God relationship to His People in the Dispensation of Grace.
