About the Book

The Broken Man, A Grievous Reckoning, The Last Delivery, A Mother’s Day Cry, and When Death Walks Amongst Us are all true accounts of actual events, except the names were changed to protect the identities of the people involved.  Only minor fictional changes were made for continuous story flow and readability.

David W. Scudder, Sr. provided the opening dream sequence to When Death Walks Amongst Us.

The Forlorn One was inspired by many events, and thus is the only fiction in the book.  But many individuals can attest to the difficulty of finding about one’s past records in adoption cases.

Through examination of these individual cases, and during these upheaval, emotional moments of our daily lives, we can truly appreciate value of our friends and family.

Hopefully, by having open discussions about grief, pains, and sorrow we can deal with it better, and perhaps, learn to heal mentally quicker someday.  It is not a book for those disturbed people, with physical or deep psychological problems.

And to this end, the book was written.  Now let your emotions be your guide you, as you tour through these thought provoking stories--
