(enemy within) and never receive
the bountiful harvest God wishes for them.
DO NOT FORGET. .
. GOD KNOWS OUR LIMITATIONS AND
THAT WE CAN NOT MAKE IT ALONE . . . SO
HE PROVIDES MENTORS AND ANGELS IN OUR LIVES AT DIFFERENT TIMES OR STAGES SO WE
HAVE THE PROTECTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT THAT WE NEED.
The Bible says, there is a season
for everything. Abram was almost 100
years old when he and Sarah gave birth to their first son. There is usually a period of waiting or preparation,
which may be considered a period of
delay, not denial, after God's promise has been made.
However, do not feel because the
Bible says everything in due season, that every promise should take forever to
come to pass. If we keep letting the
proper season pass us by, over and over again, the fruit and crops may rot on
the tree or vine and when we finally go to get our harvest, it may be too
late. The harvest is great but the
workers are few, the Bible says. I
believe that is because people are unable to be like Abram and hold on to their
love sponsored thoughts and the negative thoughts win out. Don't be too late for your harvest, move,
MOVE physically, mentally, psychologically, spiritually and move in FAITH,
trust, and belief that if God is speaking to you it will be there and it will
be yours. It will be as it was for
Peter and the fishermen after they believed, trusted, and put their faith in
God's command to drop their nets in the deep waters after they had fished all
night the way they usually fished and caught nothing. Read from the Gospel of John 21:1-6 in the Bible. You know, those fishermen took care of their
nets, it was what their livelihood depended upon. Those nets almost never broke.
The harvest that God gave them for believing in Him and risking, was so
great, even those nets could not contain it!
The boat almost sank! That is
how our harvest will be also!!!
THERE ARE FOUR STEPS TO CLAIM YOUR POWER:
1. PRAYER (turn your mind to God)
2. OBEDIENCE (which will put order in your life)
3. WISDOM (which we get from reading and studying the Word of God)
4. REPENTANCE (admitting our weaknesses to God - then we can be
transformed)
Being prosperous with regard to
money, does not have the same meaning as the prosperity you will acquire when
you receive the Harvest that God has planned for you. The harvest that God has for you is your mission and purpose for
your life. It will give you peace even
in the midst of turmoil and suffering.
You learn that joy is not the absence of pain, but the presence of
God. You will understand love as not
the Hollywood 'happy ever after love'
. . . but love of yourself because
you will see yourself as a child of God.
You will then know that all that is His is yours. This wonderful knowledge can not be taken
from you by anyone because when realized, it is secure forever in your hearts.
To obtain a sense of prosperity
in the area of money, Sarah Ban Breathnach from Simple Abundance, suggests when
you pay your bills, pay them with GRATITUDE.
There's that Gratitude again, that life changing quality. She says to create an atmosphere when you
pay your bills in which you Thank God for each one as it is paid. Put each in its envelope and send it away or
hand the amount owed to whomever necessary to pay for "services
rendered". If we hold on to
grateful thoughts, she says, we concentrate on what we HAVE which includes the
money to pay bills for "services
rendered" as well as all the other things we talked about, such as our
health, intelligence, energy, life, children, boyfriend, husband, family,
friend, God. And the
"Principal" will hold true, when we are grateful for what we have, we
will receive more.
