About the Book

Growing up never seems easy, even though you may have lived a happy childhood. There are always those limitations that hinder us, as we struggle to become the "age that can do more." We can never wait until we are older. . .

The author has taken the stages of life, and looked at it with such humor, that she keeps you captivated and laughing throughout the book. Many subjects are covered, such as; childhood, the teen years, dating, marriage, and raising children.

As Liz has taken life's situations, form birth to mid-life, she reflects on what is important to us as we grow up. She explores many issues that touch our lives.

Life's situations involving illnesses, the loss of a parent, gossip, abuse, rape, and drugs have all found a place in her unique style of writing. She uses such humor throughout these situations, that it will not only make you laugh, but make you think and find thankfulness in times like these.

Both men and woman have enjoyed her book, and have said it touches all of their emotions. She hopes to help us laugh at ourselves, and grow through our experiences, as we travel through our lives.
