About the Book

Princess Diana: An Illustrated Collection and Price Guide provides the key needed for collectors to obtain retired or current items and the market values on their collectibles.  This book will provide information and tips to help collectors use the Internet as a resource to find unique items.  This guide will be helpful to those who wish to expand their existing collection as well as those who would like to sell an item.

Diana memorabilia comes in a vast variety of items.  With the use of Internet auction sites, thousands of items can be seen at once with just the click of a button.  Starting a Princess Diana Collection can be fun and easy.  You can begin collecting small items such as spoons, coins, sweet tins, postcards, and playing cards.  These items are inexpensive but will hold their value for years to come.  As your collection grows, you can purchase more expensive items such as plates, porcelain figurines and porcelain dolls.  These items can triple in value within a short period of time, so be assured they will be an asset to your collection.  Even one of Diana's dresses was sold on ebay last year, purchased by The Pink Ribbon Crusade in support of breast cancer.  This type of purchase will be priceless when added to your collection.

The suggested values of commemoratives in this price guide are based on the Authors experience and knowledge.  These prices should not be used as “set” prices in the event of buying and selling.  Price values fluctuate daily in all parts of the world.  To determine the value of any given piece, the following factors must be considered: rarity, availability, present market demand and condition on the item.  These factors will greatly influence the worth of an item.  The intent of this book is help collectors start or add to an existing collection by showing available collectibles.  Values are added to help the collectors determine the worth of an item.  Neither the authors nor the publisher accept responsibility for the use of the suggested values.
