It was pure chaos inside the helicopter.  Kayla jumped over her seat and into the back to make room for Billy.  She came around from the side to help Tony raise him up to a sitting position.  Billy was shot in the chest and the leg and there was blood everywhere.

As the helicopter tipped, something outside the window caught Kayla’s eye.  She watched wide eyed as a man in green army fatigues aimed a missile launcher at them.  Another man, in fatigues, wearing a red baseball hat ran toward him and pushed the launcher away, then smacked the man across the head sending him flying.  The man with the hat waved his arms up and down and paced excitedly in front of the jeeps parked in the center of the compound.  He strode over to one of the bodies on the ground, picked up his rifle, and shot the drivers of the first two jeeps and the man who had been holding the launcher.

“Kayla!  Snap out of it.  I need you here!” shouted Tony.  A chill went through Kayla as she turned to help him with Billy’s injuries.  That scene was too bizarre for her to comprehend.  That man had just shot his own people.
