Introduction
The Sentient Temple
The Sentient Temple was founded by Reverend Dennis
Alexander, PhD, and Reverend Fern Alexander, PhD. Both are graduates of The New Mexico Seminary in Santa Fe. Dennis
and Fern are Mayan Circle Masters, and seventh generation Karuna Reiki Masters
in direct lineage from Dr. Usui. They
travel the world teaching, and learning the cultures and traditional medicines
of indigenous peoples.
It is the living code of the Sentient Temple to
travel and teach Reiki Healing and Naturopathic Medicine around the world. The
goal is to reach out to those in need anywhere, anytime, by any means. There is a phrase in Mayan; “Quinc’ amo wa’ nuchak, wa’ nupatan.” (This
is our work, this is our service.) “Panche
be.” (Seeking the root of the truth.)
Rev. Alexander has combined what he learned from the
Maya with the metaphysics gleaned from his mother, and philosophies of other
ancient traditions and religions, including: Wicca ceremony and spells,
wonderful recipes and Reiki healing.
Breaking dogma, Rev. Alexander has created a fresh approach to facing
the millennium and the age of Aquarius. Rev. Alexander guides you upon the Path
to Enlightenment. According to the Mayan Calendar, the Great Transition will
occur in 2012. Will you be ready?
Reverend Fern Alexander
Fern’s degree is in Ancient Religions, and her
thesis was on hands-on healing and Wicca.
She has been a practicing Reiki Master-Teacher for over five years, and
has traveled Mexico and South America teaching and practicing Reiki. She is
also an accomplished herbologist and a Naturopathic Doctor. She has studied the
philosophies of Wicca, the Tibetans and the Maya, and is an accomplished public
speaker. Rev. Fern Lawrence Alexander, Circle Master, is called “Rainbow Cloud,
9 Storm.”
Reverend Dennis Alexander
Dennis’ mother has a PhD in Metaphysics, and from
the age of four onward, Dennis was usually present while she was being
taught. This gave Rev. Alexander rare
early exposure to enlightenment.
Dennis also received his degree in Ancient
Religions. His thesis was on the Mayan Religion. He also studied Yoga, other
Eastern and Western Philosophies, and medicine.
He began his career in 1973, in Honduras,
as the Head of the Medic I Foundation. He was the
Director of the Hurricane Fifi disaster relief effort, and CEO of eleven
different nations’ medical teams. After
the relief effort was completed, he remained in Honduras
and explored the deep jungles, where he lived and
worked with the Maya. He taught medicine and learned the ancient medicine
methodology of the Maya. It was during this time he became a Mayan Shaman
through schooling and ritual. He is now
a practicing Mayan Healing Shaman. After his time with the Maya, he led a medical
team to the Island of Guanaja where he opened and ran a free medical clinic,
and was awarded a Honorary PhD. by the people of Guanaja. Rev. Dennis is also a published author,
public speaker and world class adventurer. Rev. Alexander was born, according
to the Mayan Astrological Calendar, under the Deer sign, number 11. Others born
of the sign of the Deer are: Prince Charles (4), and Pope John Paul (10). Rev. Alexander is known as “Solar Jaguar 11
Deer.”
Reverend Dennis Alexander Meets the Maya
The trek began in Brus Lagoon, where the team
traveled up river by dugout canoe for many days. They encountered obstacles in
the unexplored jungle, from hordes of ferocious insects to verminous snakes and
stalking jaguars. The natives spoke Mayan, which neither he, his Peace Corp
nurses, nor his Honduran guide could understand. The farther from civilization
the team went, travel became more difficult, and survival became more
primitive. The journey did have its rewards: many natives who were treated had
never before had medical attention. Rev. Alexander’s personal reward was the
wonderful opportunity to work, live, and study with Mayan Shamans, and Brujos (witch doctors), and learn their custumbres (customs and traditions).

Multidimensional Healing
Mayanism is a science/philosophy which incorporates
the basic belief structure of the Mayan people of Mexico and Central America.
The author Rev. Dennis Alexander lived with the Maya of Honduras as their
doctor for three years. There, learning their shamans' ways he became
"Brujo Blanco," White Witch Doctor and was awarded the title
healer/shaman.
Rev. Alexander studied many of the ancient religions
and philosophies of many cultures which he puts into practice in this book. The
Maya practiced a magical philosophy which opened portals to the
"Otherworld," which allows communication with the
"Supernatural." This is explained in detail in this book.
Both Rev. Dennis and Fern Alexander are
Usui/Mayan/Karuna Reiki Master and teach and lecture world wide. They are the
founders of the Sentient Temple in Belize Central America where they teach and
practice Reiki Healing.
About the Author
Not since Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, has
there been a more multifaceted, eccentric individual than Dennis Alexander. His
unconventional approach to life sets him apart from all who have gone before.
Three years living and working in the deep jungles of Honduras afforded him the
opportunity to learn about jungle survival and the ancient ways of the
descendants of the Mayan civilization. He Ascended as a Mayan Shaman in
1974. Five years later 1000 miles up
the Orinoco River in the heart of the Venezuelan jungle he traded in diamonds
and lost two partners to the deadly jungle. Retreating to the high country of
Colorado with only a chain saw and a gun, he survived seven years of extreme
hardship while reflecting what path his life would take. He was a true Jeremiah
Johnson. Now on the greatest adventure of his life, he has authored four books,
which break all conventional rules and dogma. He has challenged organized
religion, the government, and set forth belief structures that boggle the mind.
He is a contemporary "Man for All Seasons." Besides being an
articulate and entertaining fellow, he has led a colorful, exciting life, and
continues to do so. He is a world adventurer on a par with Indiana Jones. He
built and personally funded a medical mission in Honduras to serve badly
neglected Maya Indians. So extensive was his service to these people that his
fame spread throughout South and Central America. They gave him the title,
"El Brujo Blanco," "The White Witch Doctor." Now, he is
building a Temple and clinic in Belize. To this day, 30 years later, he can
still go to any town or village from South of Mexico City to the Straits of
Magellan and move among the most remote and hostile people in complete safety.
He may be the only person in the world for whom that can be said. Dr. Alexander
is also a Usui/Mayan/Karuna Reiki Master. He and his wife have taught and
learned from other Shaman throughout South and Central America. He is also an award winning (many times
over) film maker, a TV producer, a first rate photographer, videographer and a
director. Rev. Fern Alexander travels and teaches internationally. She has been
the Keynote speaker at such prestigious gatherings and the International
Shaman’s conference in La Paz, Bolivia.
