It was nearly time for the healer to arrive and they didn’t want her to find me in the hall. They felt they shouldn’t really move me, but after much deliberation I was moved into my room and laid on the bed. Sonya elected to stay with me. I lay there in a stupor and heard the doorbell ring somewhere off in the distance. Later I learned from Faith what had transpired.
Gladys the healer arrived and was shown into the living room where Uncle Frank sat waiting. She reacted in surprise when she saw him, stating, "This is not my patient". She went on to say the patient she expected to see was female, accurately describing me and my room. Gladys said she had actually visited me during the previous night in an out-of-body experience and remembered every detail of the room. She had entered the room by stepping over the window ledge. She said she had wondered why my bed was in the center of the room and what the large object hanging from the ceiling was.
My room was on the front of the house. It had a wide bay window that reached from the ledge, which was only 18 inches from the floor, to just below the ceiling. This allowed a full view of Portreath bay and the harbor. It was a very large room and I had put my bed in the middle of the room to section off the space for living, painting, and writing. I had hung a bright orange trawler net across the ceiling and used it to keep my clothes in. There was no way she could have seen into the room before entering, as the curtains had been drawn when I was first taken in there.
Faith knew that if I was in my normal senses I would be furious with her, but because Gladys was so accurate with her details, she couldn’t believe anything other than the "Powers that Be" had obviously taken over. Faith brought the healer in to see me.
I was in a terrible state still faintly blue from the struggle to breathe. A little foam was escaping from my mouth and Sonya was kindly wiping it away. As the healer approached she said, "Ah! There you are, we’ll soon have you right". She was practically ripping off her coat as she hurried towards the bed and stood behind me. As she placed her hands on my forehead I had my first profound, all engulfing, internal Spiritual experience of Divine Light. The Light got brighter and brighter and just as I wondered if I could stand any more a Spirit Soul appeared way off in the distance that I realized I knew very well. At the same time without a word being spoken I became conscious that the reason for my being here on this planet at this time was to heal and to teach ancient spiritual truths. As I remembered, I groaned as my immediate reaction was that I did not want to know about any spiritual work, I was just too tired and the work I foresaw was eternal. When I later recalled the experience I assumed the soul I saw must be my master, for the Light shone so brightly all around him.
My uncle did receive healing that day, but in the future as we had both elected to continue with Gladys for healing, we drove across the peninsular to Falmouth.
At one of my sessions Gladys informed me that my guides had told her that the previous month of cleaning at my uncle’s had been a preparation for my awakening. It was to aid release of things in my past. I was also informed that I had not only cleaned the house but had cleared the negative energies left behind by the women and their illnesses. The change in me was instantaneous and I was now ready to move on.
