Not for one solitary moment
As you would have me believe
That you are not weak,
But gentlemanly strong as my mind perceives
You are but a scoundrel,
a rascal tease,
trifling in effect with the very heart of me
In gentle lover’s prose you have conveyed casually
That I love you in this scandalous way
While in my heart a soul whispers
You are so wrong
It is you the misdirected rogue
Who has fallen for me
So, say what you shall
Say what you will
But this lover’s heart has your secrets just spilled.

About the Author
Currently, an Ohio resident, that is pursuing several writing projects. Several of her poems have found their way to anthologies and her photography has made it to one state fair with a black & white photo of a cornfield, featured in this book, taking second place. In possession of a gypsy, creative poetic soul that calls nowhere home until her feet have landed. The author is fascinated with the world in which we all live in and composes poetry in observance of it. She feeds calves on the farm that her husband works for and has been a jack of all trades when it comes to creating those greenbacks just like everybody else.
