About the Book
The Personal Lifetime Medical History Journal was conceived while I was recovering from an allergic reaction to a medication I had been taking. While the incident did send me into a hospital emergency room, what I learned from my experience was more of an eye opener. A faded memory and lack of knowledge were indicated as I was being asked about several health history questions. I designed this journal as an easy do-it-yourself guidebook. Each chapter is divided into specific medical events we may encounter and want to remember throughout the years. A few of the chapters have duplicated pages, as they would be used more frequently. This journal also serves other purposes. In the event that a serious illness should arise amongst one of your family members, you would have a reference guide to see if another family member had previously had the same health problem. In the event of death, your Personal Medical History Journal could be passed as a family heirloom to future generations. In our current world of technology, this journal would give the personal touch needed, as well as, the knowledge when needed to an important part of my life, my health.
