Love's Journey

The Whom I have known

I view the rapid rush of traveling waves.
They speak of tested truism and provenance.
Though alone, I feel warmth beside me.
This is familiar to me in many heartfelt ways.
My soul is filled with burning passions of yearning.
Compelled to explore the greater depth.
I have recognized the eternal eyes once familiar.
Beacons of light shining from a distant shore.
True portals of such a beautiful soul.
They draw me in, rivaling the force of gravity.
Piercing my inner soul with immunity of challenge.
They have vested license from long ago agreement.
Hands that fit mine as even where a glove pales.
To kiss is to find home for wanting lips.
Yet, clearly not the initial affection.
Perhaps once again fixed to complete some step.
It Is not always for us to know such things.
We are a trying breed.
Risks measured against likely outcome.
Sometimes spontaneity to serve us more than planning.
Desire boils inside the flaming fire.
Longing to hold one so venerated.
Honor to merely be in close proximity.
Marveling at the wisdom behind the eyes.
Seeing sureness in the quality of the goodness.
Integrity stands out behind the whims of passion.
Perhaps some passion requires toll.
But there are many ways to convey such drives.
This person is kind and gentle, yet convicted.
A sureness adding to the alluring charm.
Beauty much more than should be outwardly judged.
Such discrimination misses the mark.
Internally secure in its form so desirable.
Why is this happening; dare we judge the reason?
Or should destiny rule the manner of handling?
Complications only in a certain sense.
Mostly, unconditional feelings absent demands.
There can be no turning away without loss.
No cessation lacking demise of truest feelings.
Walking away equals death of the cruelest kind.
Yet, harm to one means harm to both.
Therefore, discernment is the key to discovery.
Room must exist for necessary slowing.
Limits bound up in practicality.
Yet, this is fully reasonable.
Today will not be the final day.
But one or both can easily be called.
Then, service in a better life.
Till then, we have the now.
There is no tomorrow so today becomes vital.
These rediscoveries must be aired.
They cleanse the staleness of current life.
Awakenings of the soul exact their toll on calmness.
Love can exist in the eye of the turbulent storm.
When the calm skies return, energy has been the product.
Only attached souls can use such potency.
Existing lives are enriched in the process.
Where doubt reigns, emotions are imprisoned.
Certainty brings peaceful decisions.
There is rarely certainty.
