Truly Who Loves You Baby?

INTRODUCTION

Have we observed how our life affects the lives of others? Lets look at our actions toward each other. How we speak to one another. Are we living in such a way that we don’t cause others to sin? Because we could be the only living epistle people will ever see. In Luke 17 Jesus said to his disciples, "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come."(NIV) King James Bible says, "Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!" (Luke 17:1) So watch yourself. Watch yourself, so you do not cause others to sin. We ARE the only walking Bible they have ever seen. So let’s do our best, give God the glory, and win souls.

Jesus said, "Watch yourself," to the disciples. And we need to watch ourselves today and everyday to see if there is anything in our lives, which may cause a problem for someone else.

We can cause others to sin when our lives are not pure. We can also encourage others to sin and stumble when we are not mindful of those who are weak.

We can assist those who are weak in their faith, more so, by example than we can by words. LOVE them! Do not condemn them. PRAY for them, and then watch God work miracles in their lives.

1 Corinthians 10:23-31 tells us that when we exercise our freedom without regard for others, we can cause them to sin. Paul writes, "do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God – even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved." The word offense means an occasion to stumble. Paul is saying none of our behavior should encourage another to sin. Paul's desire regarding men (meaning wo-men too) is that they may be saved. He is pointing out that we are responsible for the influence we have on others. When there are weaker people looking at us, we must be prudent. We must be cautious in exercising our freedom, that we don’t cause them to sin. (1 Corinthians 8:9) We are God pleasers, NOT men (women) pleasers.

"WHO LOVES YOU BABY?"

In 1 Corinthians 8, Paul says we should help those who have a weak conscience. A weak conscience is one that is easily injured or led astray. In order to help a fellow-believer with a weak conscience, we might have to alter our behavior to keep them from straying. What matters is the LOVE toward God's family. "WHO LOVES YOU BABY"?

When you have time, take a moment and think about the people in your life who are weak in their faith. Ask Jehovah to show you how you can help them. How you cannot cause them to make a mistake, or fall short of God’s glory? We are IN FACT our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers. (Ezekiel 3:17-21 New Living Translation) Remember: "WHO LOVES YOU BABY?"

SALVATION PRAYER

Father God:

Before I read this book, please search my heart. "See if there be any wicked ways, in me"... which is unpleasing in your sight. "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts..." (Psalms 139:24-23).

I invite you, Lord Jesus into my life to lead and guide me in Your perfect truth. Your word says in Romans 10:9-10 "THAT if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

I will confess You, Lord Jesus before men because in your word Matthew 10:32 wrote: "Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in Heaven."

Philippians 2:11: "and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

My human desires are dead and crucified with Christ Jesus and I live again for His plan and His purpose for my life. In Jesus name, I am free from any bondage. Thank you for coming into my Life in Jesus name – Amen.
