I asked, "Can you hear me clearly?" Rebecca nodded her head up and down indicating an affirmative response. I put my finger to Rebecca’s lips to separate them because they were sticking together from dryness. Upon parting the lips, a groaning sound came out and the mouth was moving as if it wanted to speak. I responded and told the entity to take its time and to feel its way through. I explained that it would have the capability of speaking with the vocal chords of the body through the mouth and lips as if it were its own. I started to interrogate the entity. "Can you identify yourself? Can you tell me your name? Are you male? Are you female? Are you young or old? Are you big or small?" All these questions and many more were running through my mind. What do I ask first? Would it be friendly or would it be hostile? The body started to cough as if it were choking. It moved the hands up to the throat as if it were being strangled. It appeared as though the entity was having trouble establishing a rapport with the body of Rebecca. I yelled, "It’s only a memory. It’s an affliction of the past memory. The body that is allowing you to make use of it is strong and very healthy. Just relax, take it slow and easy and do not force yourself." The words suddenly blurted out, "THIS BODY MURDERED ME!" I pulled her hands down from her neck saying, "Yes, you’re murdering the body by eating too much; you’re getting fat..." Rebecca yelled back, "No you don’t understand. This body strangled me! SHE MURDERED ME! She killed me!" I attempted to calm her down and said, "My name is Raffaele, and I would like to talk to you. Please just listen for a moment and try to relax Rebecca. Breathe deeply and slowly and let yourself adjust to the body. That’s it. You can get the words out. I would like to know who you are. Can you tell me your name?"

About the Book
This story is about an unsolved murder that was committed on August 16, 1967 in the City of Waltham, Massachusetts near the Weston town line about ten miles west of Boston. The partially clad body of a forty-eight-year-old woman was found with no shoes on and one of her silk stockings wrapped around her neck, strangling her to death. This presentation is based on a true story with unsolicited revelations making an accusation from beyond the grave. Was the truth of what happened generated by the spirit of the deceased or was it from guilt that haunted the murderer into a confession? As the story unfolds and the sequences of events are revealed, it will hold you in suspense as it leads up to the actual murder of the young lady. According to the Waltham police, this murder case is considered as a "cold case" (unsolved to date). You be the judge. Is this case still unsolved or has it been resolved thirty-three years later? The authors first received their information in 1984 through a séance in which an unknown entity unexpectedly entered the body of the alleged murderer. This entity shouted to all those present, "This body murdered me!" At a later date, the voice identified to be none other than the deceased, Doris A. Johnson. Did the deceased come back in spirit and control the killer into a confession thirty-three years later, or was the killer’s own guilt overcome by its own spirit into revealing the truth that she could not hold back anymore. Bear in mind, we are all living spirits having a human experience until such time when death occurs and the soul departs the physical body, thus becoming an integral part of the spiritual world.
About the Author
Raffaele J. Bibbo is a civil engineer and registered land surveyor. He has studied the spiritual world for most of his life and has experienced many contacts with spirits. He has also lectured and demonstrated on the subject and has appeared on numerous television programs as well as radio. Raffaele has also produced and directed several short programs for the local cable network. Spirits Surround Us was his first publication. Diane M. Marobella has been studying, researching, and investigating the spiritual phenomena for the last fifteen years. As an administrative assistant in her professional life, she has also assisted in recording and maintaining data for the many cases in which she has been involved. As co-author of Haunted by the Spirit, this is her first endeavor in the field of writing.
