About the Book

Although this book may seem old fashion in some parts and yet some parts may seem to be ahead of its time, this is just a book to explain the life and times of one person. No two people's lives are the same. The sole purpose of writing this book was not to gain any type of notoriety or to become wealthy or even to be impressive. The reasons as to why I am writing this book is really very simple. First, I had been encouraged to do so by different people that I have known over the years. Second, because of the people who have known me, found my past to be very touching and interesting, in which even though there were many struggles and hardships, there were also many great experiences, that I might add not very many people ever experience in a lifetime. Third, and most important reason of all I think is, for those people who are having hardships and struggles to know that they are not alone and just maybe they can be given a ray of hope and encouragement so that they to can overcome their problems no matter what they may be. If only one person is helped in some way by reading this book, then all the time and effort and tears in writing this book is well worth it. Many people are in so much doom and gloom, many of which never think there is any light at the end of the tunnel. By expressing my innermost feelings and experiences, maybe, just maybe someone will be able to see a small glimmer of light at the end of their tunnel that they thought was long since gone.

This book is a complete story of my life in every aspect possible. All aspects of my life are described in the best possible detail. All things are the reality of my past. There will be no fictional or make believe experiences to make my life seem either harder or easier than it really was or now is. You will take a journey though my childhood days and my teen years, clear through to the present. You will learn about experiences that seem to be disturbing and somewhat unpleasant, but all must be told both good and bad. Through the following pages you will find experiences in my life that deal with abuse, living in slums, street gangs, sex, stressful situations, anger, depression, financial problems, marriage problems, family problems, crushed dreams, death, suicidal thoughts, spiritual guidance, and many other experiences too numerous to mention at this point. Some of which my family doesn't even know about. Along with all the bad times, you will also experience joyful times, times when I thought I was on top of the world and also the most happiest times in my life. And unlike other books, you will find somewhere hidden in the pages an address where you can write me to tell me your likes or dislikes with the book. All comments are invited. Although this book deals with many different topics, it is not intended to be scandalous or degrading to anyone who is mentioned or referred to in it. But, facts are facts and although I do not intend for this book to upset anyone, there will be those that are involved in the book that will not agree with everything mentioned and there even may be hurt feelings. This book is about me, how I took and understood things that happened then and now, not someone else's views thoughts or feelings, but mine and mine alone. As for the movie star that inspired me enough to keep me virtually alive today, you will later find out who it was. I don't want anyone to think I am using the star's name just to sell this book (if published) especially the star's family. I owe that star my life and would never ever think of doing anything to hurt the star's name or the star's family in any way.

About the Author

Born in 1952 to a drinking mother and abusive father, given away when I was three years of age. Raised on a farm with all the work it takes to run a farm and being an only child. Rebelled at a very young age and found myself in big city life with all that comes existing in the bad part of town. Married at sixteen with the hardships, trials and the blessings that come with young married life. Blessed with two girls (Amy Denise and Angela Kay) which made young life a challenge to provide for their needs. Worked on a career, which had its ups and downs. But, by the grace of god and with his help I made it. If I had to relive those years again all that I would have changed would be to show my family more love. This book is my story.
