About the Book

Atoms of God: Reclaiming Divinity shares one spiritual pilgrim’s experiences from the time she begins searching for her personal beliefs. She invites you to participate to whatever degree you feel ready. Packed full of emotion and examination of commonly accepted concepts, the book is written in poetry, thus engaging both sides of the brain. The poetic style varies with the topic, for it has to remain responsive to the emotion or subject.

Spirituality is a growing field of interest today. People want to understand how they can find their own comfort zone. They read books in record numbers about alternative thoughts, mysticism, Eastern philosophy, yoga science, and meditation. Attacks on long-held "facts" in physical and psychological sciences, histories, health care and a sustainable environment come not only from dissidents or fanatics, but from well-respected members of the professional communities.

Yoga science, which the author studies, has many branches. However, the yogi may be Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, or not actively "religious." Atoms of God challenges you to think for yourself and to consult your inner guidance. Question all things. Then accept only what feels right to you and listen to the Spirit within.

About the Author

Alexandria Renée Omikami has always had a passion for writing and music. She has published one reference book on environmental law and numerous articles. Her poetry writing began when she was a child. Throughout the years, Rev. Omikami has published poetry in newsletters, magazines, and scholastic papers.

She is a licensed attorney who is not currently practicing law, an ordained minister, and has released one musical CD, "Journey: Music from the Cosmos," which she composed and performed. Her appetite for knowledge and also creativity make an interesting mixture, because "facts" or what is considered "factual" and "creation" are not always compatible.

Atoms Of God: Reclaiming Divinity is Rev. Omikami’s first poetry book. It is a work of passion, showing different stages a seeker for their personal spiritual reality can go through. She wrote it to expose hidden doubts, pains, questioning, transformation, and potential joy that awaits us when our spirits begin to awaken to their own alarm clock. Ms. Omikami believes we are all divine, part of the Spirit/God/Source, or whatever you may consider the ultimate Consciousness to be called.

The author is a student of both Eastern and Western philosophies and spirituality. She is a disciple of Sri Swami Rama of the Sri Vidya Tradition, one of the Himalayan Masters. However, as the Tradition teaches, one must find their own truth within.
