District Counsel coordinates the audit of prostitutes, tax protestors, drug dealers and a host of other honest and dishonest taxpayers. One attorney attempts to cope with the underhanded and unethical treatment of taxpayers with no results. He is recruited by the Justice Department to assists in their investigation of the District Counsel.
Trouble develops in the office as office romances are exposed. When the office hires its first African American lawyer, the lawyer is forced to resign after it is discovered that he is working with the United States Justice Department in an effort to obtain evidence of illegal activity in the office.
When the targeted Senator holds senate investigations on the abuses of power by the IRS, everyone in the office tells it all.
About the Author
The author, Eddie L. Gibson, is a graduate of the Thurgood Marshal School of Law at Houston, Texas. He worked as an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service District Counsel in one of its offices for six years as an associate tax and trial attorney. Mr. Gibson is also the author of Caught Up And Missing: The Plot To Assassinate The Antichrist, which was published in 2002 by 1stBooks.
Mr. Gibson currently is employed as a Facilitator for the State of Florida and pursues his writing career in his spare time.
