About the Book

"I’ve met someone, Debby. I've never felt this way about a guy before."

Gail Bollinger, the beautiful daughter of a politically ambitious judge, has fallen in love—hard. What she doesn’t know is her lover, Alan Malden, is out to murder her entire family—including Gail.

Debby Gold, Gail’s best friend since college, was expected by her family to marry a nice doctor and live in a split level in Long Island where she could have babies and cook. Instead, Debby joined the New York Police Department, to her family’s despair. Not to mention the guys she’s dating.

Debby can’t keep from asking Gail questions about Alan—especially after the bizarre murder of Gail’s brother. Her relentless curiosity is driving a wedge between the two friends.

Set in the restaurants, bars and streets of New York City, whirling between the swinging singles scene and tense police procedure, this gripping novel brings you romance, humor, mystery and suspense.
