About the Book

This book differs from all the others on anxiety disorder since it describes what anxiety is like from a young person’s point of view. Very little has been written from a child’s perspective. The author thought it would be beneficial to young people and parents alike to read how he grew up with anxiety disorder. Now that society finally accepts social anxiety disorder, the author felt it was time for this book to be written. Relating his own experiences, the author shows that if you have this disorder, you are not alone. What does it feel like for the child who is always last, and never chosen in gym class? This book concentrates on anxiety in the school setting, from grade school through college.

About the Author

Mark Pagel, the author of, Growing Up With Anxiety Disorder, is well-versed in writing, and has a degree in English-Writing Intensive from Marquette University, along with a minor Plus in Psychology.
