About the Author
Carol-Denise Mitchell, "CD" as she is sometimes called, was motivated to write A Love Worth Fighting For to illustrate to her readers that love at any age can be felt from the heart. In an effort to introduce strong, successful men and women, her characters are empowered with independence and wealth and the fearlessness to go after what they want at all cost. This story of love, evil and possession was a subject that actually blossomed into a story from a true life experience the author had that she contends, "had to be told to the world." Carol-Denise is the author of one of Oakland, California's 1995 best selling books, What Happened to Suzy. Born the sixth of Tasceaie and Zebbie Charles' sixteen children, on May 12, 1955 in Los Angeles, California, the Watts, native is the mother of two adult sons, Shuun and Daryle, and now makes her home in Concord, California, a city by the Bay. When she is not writing, she works as a Resident Services Coordinator for an Apartment Community in San Francisco, CA.
