Enforced Sorrow
The eyes have it with the conspiracy
Of the illusion of majority
We have allowed the danger inside
It has disavowed
The pure it does mock and deride
I know from NOW what will be tomorrow
I grow and try to plow
But there is only a creed
Of enforced sorrow
I must teach
While being careful not to preach
I must open the house of every door
And show them that to true freedom
There is so much more
The Tool Will Betray
The clouds of discontent
The monsoon of pain
There is no end to the rent
Needed and deeded of a psyche
On the rain it is the due
Not just of me but of the past you
Prayers are a must
Else my soul turns to dust
Forever I play the fool
Never do I say but anyway
My heart is always used as a tool
I see a crowd here they gather
They shout not aloud would it even matter
I sit here befuddled but to them my
Ideas are constantly muddled
I wonder should I betray
Their moral blunder of each word that they say

About the Book
This collection contains, "Beyond The Stage," an experimental poem of epic proportions, masking lessons learned within a rich tapestry of metaphors and an elemental plot. It truly has poetry that will fit as many tastes as there are readers.
Some passages reflect the dangers of certain emotions, while others glory in these same ideals. Simple truths are highlighted, hidden within phrases that may confound, yet, always illuminate.
About the Author
The author has written over a thousand poems, and shares some of his favorites in this volume. His range of works spans the arenas of science fiction, fantasy-adventure, crime drama and screenplays, although his first published work was a children’s book.
Some of his favorite jobs have been a projectionist/theater usher and concessionist, and also a security guard, a babysitter, and selling greeting cards. He hopes to turn his writing into a full-time, life-long career. He is currently single, thirty-five, and resides in New Jersey.
