Although the purpose for this book is to shed "New Light on Old Mysteries", the search for answers to biblical mysteries did not originate with the desire to write a book. My search for answers to many biblical mysteries began in the late nineteen sixties to early nineteen seventies when I first heard a well known theory about ‘who’ the Sons of God were, spoken of in the forth chapter of the book of Genesis.
The theory states that the Sons of God were fallen angels, also known as demons, which came to the Earth and mated with humans, the result of which produced an unnatural, horrible race of giant people. The theory also claims that these unnatural, corrupt offspring are what led to the destruction of the whole world in the Great Flood of Noah’s day.
I knew this theory could not possibly be true, because the Bible teaches us that God has never called the angels His sons, this includes both the Holy Angels and most definitely the fallen demonic ones as well.
Knowing this led me to ask "Who were the real Sons of God and the giant people who walked this Earth in the beginning of our history?"
Searching for answers to these questions caused me to read almost everything I could get my hands on concerning these subjects. To my astonishment most of the writings I read only led to more absurd theories about our beginnings. Theories so absurd and ridiculous that they only intensified my desires to search for the truth to these mysteries for myself.
Knowing that God is the final and supreme authority on everything, I decided to take all that I had heard, read, seen, as well as been taught regarding these subjects and ask Him what they meant.
In the process of time, as I asked and searched, not only did I receive answers as to whom the Sons of God and the giants of our most ancient past were, but I was also given a clearer picture of our whole Creation and very beginnings. This was an amazing picture of pure simplicity that slowly came into focus.
As I asked and searched, God not only answered most of my questions, but also gave me answers to questions that I hadn’t even asked Him for! I am a witness that when God fills your cup it is not only full, but it runs over abundantly!

About the Author
Nancy Lorraine is a typical wife and mother with four children, seven grandchildren and three great-grand children and has lived her entire life in the Seattle / Tacoma area of Washington State.
Shortly after becoming a Christian some thirty years ago, she began to hear biblical stories that she knew could not possibly be true. Not willing to accept these common theories as the truth, she set out searching the Bible for herself, asking God the entire time for truthful, Bible based answers to many of these most puzzling of mysteries.
Nancy is a firm believer that God answers all those who sincerely ask, knock and seek for His truth. Because of her strong Christian belief she has laboriously invested the past ten years of her life to create this book. Her driving force was to share with the world the truths that God has shown her so that others may also have honest understanding of some of God’s mysteries. Truths that God has revealed to her through His written word.
Cindy Lorraine is a resident and native-born Washingtonian of the Greater Puget Sound area. She is a married mother with two children and is a daughter of Nancy Lorraine.
Cindy has devoted countless hours over the past ten years working closely beside her mother as the writer and editor of this work. Her devotion to this project was due to her strong belief that her mother has something important and powerful to share with the world.
