About the Book

Every year hundreds of thousands of people are diagnosed with cancer. Lessons Learned from Cancer is the ideal book for people with cancer – whether they are currently in treatment or have survived it. For those who aren’t sure what to say when a loved one is diagnosed, Lessons Learned from Cancer is the perfect get well gift, offering advice, humor and inspiration.

Pregnant and diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, cancer rocked my world. Ten years later I have survived. I have a healthy daughter and I have passed the momentous cure time.

I’ve learned important lessons from having cancer. Life is too short. Also, I don’t have to be perfect. I've learned to let things go, and that most things are not worth the stress we add to them.

Lessons Learned from Cancer tells of the lessons I’ve learned from having cancer. The most important lesson was that having cancer is not a death sentence. I was lucky. I had friends and acquaintances that had been down the same road before, and eased my way.

Lessons Learned from Cancer will ease the road taken with cancer. It offers the reader advice and hope and so much more.
