First of all remember that no human authority (including me) is accepted as ultimate. Leadership that may develop in friendly groups is always temporary for conducting discussions or arranging lectures. A leader just maintains order in a meeting. His or her opinions are his or her own, just as those of anyone else are. At the end of the meeting the leadership ends also.
Avoid the two outstanding characteristics of the psycho-cult: (1) The leader or small group of leaders claim to possess unique knowledge superior to that of anyone else, and (2) You are discouraged from contacting anyone or studying materials that are not approved of by the leadership.
Any person, regardless of religious, ethnic, or political background should be welcome to share his or her experiences with you and you with them. This should help any friendly group to remain open-minded and to avoid any tendency toward distraction by financial, political, denominational, racial or similar issues that don't concern individual spiritual growth. There are other organizations and groups that serve those purposes.

About the Author
Born during the roaring twenties, growing up during the depression years, maturing during World War Two, Cline Clark was a first-class beatnik!
His serendipitous personality during the early dawning of Aquarius led him through many activities: pre-medicine, music, accounting, insurance claims adjusting, on-stage performances as master of ceremonies, singer, comedian(?), and his "Doktor Zvenghali, Master Mesmerist" hypnotism act in New Orleans’ Vieux Carre.
At the beginning was his mother’s religious training. In the middle of it all was his call to the ministry serving as Chaplain to Louisiana State Charity Hospital. At the end he finds himself inspired by the universal process (God), helping others and teaching how to establish personal contact with the universal life force!
