About the Book
The Cowkiller is an action and suspense fiction novel. Dan Riley travels through the state of
Alabama from Mobile to Cullman. He
takes the state highways to stay away from the heavy traffic on Interstate
65. Dan is traveling to Cullman to
celebrate the death of Jim Glimes, a fellow that had caused him much grief ten
years earlier. A few miles out of
Mobile Dan’s trip is delayed by a traffic accident. An eighteen-wheeler, a Ford pickup truck towing a stock trailer
and a 740 BMW are involved. Dan stopped
to give aid to the injured; meeting Rita Coalwell, will forever change his
life.
The twist and turns of drama create solid intrigue
and suspense. Drug smuggling, money
laundering, insurance fraud, arson, murder, attempted murder and identity
changes are interwoven in this fast moving novel. Rita Coalwell is a beautiful young blonde with big blue eyes and
lives in Pensacola, Florida. Dan Riley
befriends Rita and it almost cost him his life.
Dan Riley associates the emotional and physical
hurts in life with the sting of the Cowkiller. This colorful wingless wasp early in life stung him and the
excruciating pain is vivid in his mind.
