About the Book

Heroes of Draconis: Crossroads was written while I still attended high school. I was in eleventh grade when I first started writing it. The book exhibited everything that was going on in my life from a fictional point of view. With a backyard wrestling federation motivating me, I had the action perspective. With a newly found relationship, I had an emotional standpoint. And with all that was going on in my childhood and with people who didn’t see eye to eye with me, I had conflict.

Crossroads was the first project that I ever wanted to continue doing. I had a rough start, but it became easier as time went on. Writing a book is fun if you are a good storyteller. Thoughts kept coming into my head as I wrote the book. I decided it was something that I wanted to do for awhile, and I think that the first book reflected that.

Once I realized that I loved it, it was too fun to just end where I could have. I resolved that I would make a series. Many characters represented real-life people. Many real-life situations were adapted to book format. However, creative ingenuity and imagination was to attribute for most of it.

Crossroads is about a young man who is just evolving into manhood. His life takes an unexpected twist, making adolescence even harder. His existence is threatened, as well as the fate of the planet, and the only one with the power to do anything is the main character. Many emotions collide, as do people, which is the reason that it is called Crossroads.
