About the Book
Written from a heart that has been transfixed on the pursuit of God, The Still Small Voice urges the reader to become consumed by the Holy Fire of God. This book encourages every reader to see that no matter what age, what lifestyle, or what place in their life that they are at, the creator of the universe and Lover of their soul is constantly gazing upon them and speaking through His creation and through His own voice. This book stirs the reader to look back at the timeless truths of the Bible and see how today in a society that races ahead with technology and speed, that without holiness, the efforts of our labor are without much eternal fanfare. "Stop," says the voice of the Lord, "and listen, know me for yourself." Are you frustrated with the ways of modern day ministry and the missing elements of the Lord’s presence on the face of church? The Lord is longing to place His fingerprint upon all that we do in His name, His voice is speaking to every Christian man, woman, and child. "I desire you, do you really desire me? I am where my promises say that I will be, come to me and listen, I am waiting." Does the Lord of all creation desire to transform you into His bride, loving and longing and passionate for Him? Read the book! This book provokes the heart to see beyond traditional ministry and become desperate for the presence of God. Times of great change and great spiritual renewal await the body of Christ in these times. It is God’s promise to move according to His will, it is our responsibility to listen to His voice. This book clarifies the Holiness of God without the trappings and shackles of human doctrine. It really is very simple, God is God and through His divine love, He commands our affections.
About the Author
Tom McGuire currently oversees an apostolic ministry in Northern Illinois, which is founded upon raising up passionate pursuit of the throne room; the ministry includes a continuous house of prayer format, as well as teaching and personal ministry. His heart is to see the people of God be set free to minister and receive in spirit and truth for the cause of their King, Jesus Christ. Tom’s primary focus is bringing people to "that place" where the Lord is not simply a deity, but a personal counselor, lover, and friend. Tom has a burden to see the purity and passion of the Bride become stirred with Holiness and a longing to linger in the presence of God, where she can grow up as the promised Bride of Christ and exist in desperate passion for the touch of God. Tom feels that the mission of the Body of Christ in these last days is to unify with one another, not in conformity, but in commitment, to see the great harvest manifest and to see all peoples set free from the traditions and constraints of man and witness the transformation from Father-children relationships with God to Bridegroom-Bride relationships with the Lord. He resides in Northern Illinois with his wife and two daughters. Tom can be contacted through Holy Fire Ministries via e-mail
