Matilda (Tillie) Walsh, followed in her father’s footsteps as a FBI agent for the District of Columbia. She was one of the best agents on the force. She was persistent in her efforts to pursue the criminals she was after, almost with reckless abandonment putting her in jeopardy to uncover the underworld. Tillie loved her job and was working on a case that could expose some very dangerous and ruthless people. She puts herself in harms way, and knows that some innocent people including her friends could get hurt in the process-- Leo Toscanelli, rich powerful and one of the most notorious underworld figures on the east coast all the way to his birthplace in Milan, Italy. His business ventures were flowing so smoothly, that they were practically running themselves until his life suddenly took a drastic change. Everything in his business and personal life began to fall apart especially with the murder of his son. Someone was breathing down his neck moving in on his territory. He had made an unconditional promise a long time ago to his family. No one would ever take anything that he had been to hell and back to have. And, it was a promise he had every intention of keeping-- Angela Toscanelli loved her parents but adored her father in every way unbeknownst to him because he was too busy training and idolizing one of his sons. She was simply his beautiful daughter that he indulged. He didn’t know anything about her until one day she let him see the real picture and he wasn’t prepared for what he saw-- What these people have in common is power, position and prestige. What made three of the women friends, were their mutual common ground, their attitude towards life, men and their careers. Although they each worked at different jobs, all of them ended up working on the same case but from a different angle. The danger that they each put themselves in could possibly cost one or all of them their lives if they weren’t scrupulous--

About the Book
Bobby wound up as a co-anchor for a local television station in Washington D. C. She was a quick study who became a very important asset to the station and her boss. She meets up with a woman named Tillie right after moving to D.C. and finds out during their first meeting that Tillie worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and that they had a lot in common. In turn, Tillie introduced her to her friend Vista, who also worked in the city as a criminal attorney. The three of them got to be close friends. They each meet up with the notorious Leo Toscanelli through their work and become entangled in a medley of secrets, lies, danger and intrigue. The intensity of their jobs, and the depths in which they all had to go to get from underneath the grip of the infamous Toscanellis, was more then they each bargained for, challenging their friendship, and putting their lives in serious danger.
