About the Book
THICKER THAN WATER
Jo Lee was a beautiful young woman with hopes and dreams of a wonderful future with the boy she loved so deeply. She was the oldest of five children trying to survive in a small southern town in South Carolina and chooses to give up her dreams to protect her younger sister who epitomizes the words selfishness, deceit and evil. Yet, Jo Lee protects this sister to a point that lands her in prison for a crime she did not commit, thus putting her in life-threatening situations, causing her to lose seven years of her young life, but, most importantly, she loses the love of her life, Noble Kincaid.
Strength of love, loyalty, and devotion triumphs in this compelling story of how blood is truly THICKER THAN WATER.
About the Author
Victoria Simpson is a fifty-three year old novice writer born in the small southern town of Williamston, South Carolina, married with two grown daughters and five grandchildren. She works full time at a state hospital as a medical transcriptionist. She has spent all of her life in the southeast and attributes her love of this area to the warm, pleasant climate and the access to nearby beaches, mountains and the scenic beauty connected with South Carolina. Her book, THICKER THAN WATER, was inspired by another writer, Billie Letts, who wrote about similar unselfish characters. Victoria has always wanted to write a book but never had the courage, until now. She was encouraged by her family to fulfill her dream.
