The men needed to find shelter for themselves and the rest of their group until the weather cleared up. These men were the ones from the plane crash that Lee had told me about. What Lee did not know was that there was a gang of smugglers that had taken over the plane and during the process crashed it. The irony was that these men posed as prison guards in order to take the plan over. It would do them no good now. They had no idea what this mountain had in store for them. And now they were on the move they had to get far away from the police. "Come on Josh, We’ve got to tell the boss that we found a good place to hide. You don’t think he is going to be mad because those people saw us do you? Josh answered, "We won’t tell him." "We won’t tell him, ok sure. Gee you are so smart, I would never know what to tell the boss." Josh said, "Just let me do all the talking ok?" "Ok." The boss man looked at his men and said, "Well, did you find a place for us to hide out for a little while?" Josh answered him, "Yea boss, it’s a lodge half way up the mountain. That’s why it took so long. The snow is so deep it’s hard to climb up there, but it does look like a good place to stay." The boss asked, "Was their anyone there?" "Yes, but they did not see us. We can handle them." Josh replied. "Are you sure about that?" the boss man asked. Josh replied, "Yes boss, yes." "I’m not talking to you Josh." The boss said and looked at the other men. They both nodded their heads in agreement with Josh. The boss then said, "Ok then, lets get our things together and get going."

About the Book
Follow the adventures of Ivory Green. A very competitive, independent woman determined to make a success of her summer resort lodge, nestled on a nearly deserted mountain. Just when everything is going her way she finds the love of a stranger can be dangerous. Immediately unexplained things begin to happen and when a prison plane crashes in a nearby town the bodies start adding up. All the while leading straight to the lodge. Can Lee Banks the town sheriff, who is secretly in love with Ivory, protect her from this evil which has surrounded his town? Will Ivory lose everything she had worked so hard to build? Who really is this stranger who has fallen for Ivory and can he be the root of this evil?
About the Author
K.V. Key was born in the hills of East Tennessee and has recently retired from the University of Tennessee Hospital. Her grandmother was a Cherokee Indian herb doctor who passed on her skills along with many of her life stories to K.V. In her spare time she enjoys fishing and camping and she is currently creating the continuing story of Ivory Green and Lee Banks, two characters from her first book The Snow Turns Red. K.V. has also written several poems, which have been published over the last few years. In the future K.V. has plans to broaden her interest in writing to include screenplays.
