The Gospel... is the good news that God loves us (John 3:16) Gave his Son to die for our sins and rose again the third day to verify our justification. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) and (Romans 4:24-25) The purpose of this gospel Tract is to glorify God. Give unbelievers the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ that through God’s grace through faith in the death and resurrection of his Son they may confess him as Lord and believe in their heart God raised him from the dead and know for sure they have eternal life. (Ephesians 2:4-9) (Romans 10:8-17) It is a tool for all believers to share the saving knowledge of Christ in a simple and effective way. (Acts 1:8) (Mark 16:15-16) Do you know for sure where you are going to spend eternity? You have two choices according to the Bible (Heaven or Hell.) "For the wages of sin is death; (Hell) but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Heaven) (Romans 6:23) Do you know or have you heard all of us are sinners and fall short of what God expects of us? "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) If you know you are a sinner and out of fellowship with God this is what the Bible teaches about restoring this fellowship and the assurance of your eternal salvation with God. Believe God loves you and has given you a book of instruction called the Bible. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:16-17) The Bible tells us God sent his Son into the world to be born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14) (Matthew 1:18-25) To live on earth 33 years and die on the cross for our sins, to be buried and raised again the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) He was seen of many people who verified his resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:5-9) After you have read the Bible or heard it preached God will give you the grace and faith to believe his word. "For by grace you are saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 6:23) It will be your decision to accept or reject and this will determine your eternal destination. (Heaven or Hell) To accept God’s grace you must confess Jesus Christ as Lord, and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead and know you are saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10) If you accept you will have the Holy Spirit living within you. (John 14:16-18) You will be a son or daughter of God. (John 1:12) You will be a witness to all you come in contact with and will tell others of your newfound faith in God. (Mark 16:15-16)(Acts 1:8) When you sin you must confess that sin to the person you sinned against and to God who will forgive you of that sin and all others when you ask. (1 John 1:9) When you die your soul will go to be with the Lord forever and your body will be buried in the ground to be raised at a later date. (2 Corinthians 5:8) (1 Thessalonians 4:17) If you are alive when Christ returns you will be caught up to be with him in the air and will spend eternity in heaven with Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:17) (John 14:1-3) For those who will not accept God’s grace and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the price of their sins before they die will spend eternity separated from God in a place called hell. (Revelation 20:11-15)

About the Book
As you read this book you will discover how God with the leading of the Holy Spirit has led one of His children from a child of God to a man of God who is still growing and working in His harvest reaping much fruit. This book was written to encourage Christians. Give those who do not believe that saving knowledge of Christ and show the world how God can use anyone to serve Him if they are willing. This book covers a multitude of experiences including Life before and after becoming a Christian. Poems pulpit humor, letters to people in high places and a letter from President George W. Bush. Most of this book is about the Gospel and how you may become a Christian through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ according to the Bible. (1 Corinthians 15:1-5) (Romans 10:9-11)
About the Author
Jim was born and raised in Virginia where he lived with his Father and Mother and twelve brothers and sisters for 17 years. After high school and three years in the Army Air Corps Jim came to Chicago, Illinois September 1st 1946 to attend school. While attending school Jim started working for a large company in Chicago. After graduation he remained with the company for 41 years. While working for the company he became a Christian on October 17 1949 at the age of 23. He was made Chaplain of the company and worked in that area for 20 years of the 41 years he worked for the company. He has served the Lord in many areas over many years. (53 and counting) Jim has seen God work in many ways in and through his life. Most of his Christian walk has been as a Lay Minister. Preaching. Teaching. And Soul Winning. (Giving others the saving knowledge of Christ through his death and resurrection). Some of his greatest blessing has come from working with other churches in several states sharing the Gospel and watching them grow in grace and knowledge of God. This walk has not been easy but through it all God’s grace has been more than sufficient. (1 Corinthians 12:9)
