Over 25 years I have had the honor of substituting in the classrooms of many great teachers. Every teacher somehow picks up an affirmation or two they proudly display in their classrooms. I often thought these affirmations should be more widely circulated that others may be able to enrich their lives. I have always somehow been fascinated by the one liners or paragraphs that stimulate us to achieve goals beyond our dreams, or just calm us down to see what life is all about. When we read a good book we can pick up some good positive expressions. Many times it takes hours to come up with one expression that really fits into our lives. In my full time teaching experiences for 14 years and some 30 years sales experiences I’ve depended many times on some of these affirmations. With these thoughts in mind, I’d like to share as many as I can recall from notes I kept over a period of time. Every affirmation in this repertory might not appeal to you so I encourage you to select the ones that you like most or helps the friends you wish to influence. These quiet, quick, decisive statements bring an immediate smile and firm conviction to move ahead with your life. Once over a mental block you need to repeat these statements to reinforce your true convictions. These affirmations are not in any particular order just like road blocks in life do not come in any specific pattern. Check off the ones that help you the most and get in the habit of repeating them dozens of times. I’m sure you’ll find these statements strong and decisive in getting to the heart of a difficult situation. The Good Lord used many affirmations to move us to a firmer grasp of helping us solve our personal problems. So let it be with us. As you scan these affirmations you can come to your own conclusions of what you believe in. Then write your own affirmations for yourself. Affirmations are counted as individual statements, paragraphs, sets of an idea or poems. A note of information; The idea of the l00l Affirmations came out of a visit to Kyoto, Japan in the early 50’s when I was in the Korean Conflict. I visited a temple of Sanjusangen-do, founded in 1164 where 1001 gilded life like wooden statues of the Japanese deity Kannon were lined up.

About the Author
He was born and raised on the farm with five boys and one girl on the little house on the prairie land that was popularized by Laura Wilder. Growing up there in the 30s; 40s, he was well acquainted with Leavenworth the home of the Church of the Japanese Martyrs, Sleepy Eye, Comfrey, Springfield, New Ulm and Mankato Areas. He served in the U.S. Army as an Engineer in Pusan, Korea. He has worked as a full- and part-time teacher for some forty years in the State of Minnesota and directed fifteen class plays and has worked with one-act plays and speech activities. He still substitutes in the St. Cloud and Cold Spring area. He has worked with some 250,000 students. He and his wife also raised a family of five boys and a girl. As a sales manager for some thirty years, he sold over 2000 sets of World Book Encyclopedias and related products, giving away thousands of dollars in products with the company with a heart program and also hired 200 sales people. In 1974, he started WINDSCHITL DYNAMICS AND ASSOCIATES promoting educational, motivational and goal setting material on cassette tapes through Success Motivation Institute. He and his wife still presently live in Cold Spring, Minnesota.
