About the Book

Charting the Course for the Integration of Faith and Purposeful Self-Help

Introducing the subject of mind-body-spiritual connectedness from an authority in field of exercise physiology who has worked with heart patients and students in five universities across 35 years of college teaching.

This highly researched book, The Power Within, is your key to understanding interactions between the mind, body, and spiritual concepts and practical applications to real-life situations. The Power Within synthesizes literature in philosophy, religion, health, psychology, exercise physiology, and other related topics that demonstrate how individuals can learn to take control of their lives.

This beautiful blend of ideas and hope is derived from the belief that Christ is the beginning and the end. With Christ, life is possible, full, and complete. Without Christ, life does not make sense. This is a critical understanding to the endless search for happiness. In the end, we learn that our source of joy and pleasure come more from learning to accept, to love, and to forgive ourselves.
