You do not have to be a hundred years old or have experienced a lifetime of sorrows, or have some kind of old soul to write poetry. Poetry/prose comes from
sources beyond our selves, from hidden places within us that demand expression.
The rich lines and deep thought contained in 'Roads and Reminiscences' does not
come from fame and popularity. They come from the heart of a child, grown far
beyond her years.
How rich the tapestry woven from the mind of this young innocent warrior. She has a gift, one that begs expression. No finer words of Martin Luther King have
evern been published. No observation of family, friends, and life could be
richer in the spoken word.
So the blend of mother and daughter combines to paint a picture of 'Roads and
Reminiscences' and invite us to travel with them in our hearts.
