For nearly thirty-five years now the mystery behind the assassination of President John F. Kennedy has been hidden from the American public. I have spent nearly thirty years now searching through tens of thousands of pieces of information. These included Warren Commission documents and testimony, C.I.A., Dallas Police Department, and F.B.I reports. Searching for some clue as to why the Warren Commission would want to cover up the true facts behind the Presidents shooting in Dallas. I have always known that in order to convict someone of a crime, you first have to have a motive for the crime. But it appears from the Warren Commission’s report that Lee Harvey Oswald had no motive. I also knew that in order to cover up the murder of the President of the United States, which was also a criminal act, that there had to be a motive. But who would have such a motive? It appears from the commission’s report that both Lee Harvey Oswald and his killer Jack Ruby had previous connections to government intelligence agencies. I had already eliminated many of the usual suspects, such as General Walker, the Russians, Cuba, Texas Oilmen, etc. Mr. Castro himself only weeks before the shooting actually seemed to be warning President Kennedy against trying something which could endanger the President’s life. It also appeared that the assassination was an inside job by someone who knew about the motorcade plans by October 16th. That was the day Lee Harvey Oswald had gotten his job at the T.S.B.D. building. I also knew that on Monday November 18th, a few days before the assassination, Chief Curry of the Dallas Police Department and Captain Fritz were notified about a change in the motorcade route, taking in past the T.S.B.D building. After over twenty-five years of research I had narrowed my list of suspects down to two. The Dallas Police Department and Secret Service officials. Both agencies not only had the means, but also a great motive to cover up the Presidents assassination. Both of these agencies were responsible for the Presidents security in Dallas, and both had failed. Which led directly to the President’s death, heads would have rolled. I had also discovered another disturbing fact between these two agencies, and all the key pieces of evidence found after the assassination. Reading through the F.B.I reports carefully concerning this evidence, I noticed that they appear to show that none of these pieces of evidence had what lawyers would call, a chain of evidence, showing exactly where it was found, or who found it. This meant that none of it could have been used against Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald would soon have been set free. In fact, the F.B.I reports unmistakably imply not only that this evidence was planted, but also that it appeared to be planted by the Dallas Police Department and Secret Service officials. Or that someone else was supplying these two agencies with this false evidence.

About the Author
Born in Chicago, Illinois, author Thomas A. Dipaolo has always been a skeptic of the Warren Commission’s version of President Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas, Texas, on November 22nd 1963. Also aware that the Warren Commission’s investigation into the President’s death was at slipshod, at worst a total fabrication. This rather precarious situation compelled Mr. Dipaolo to begin his own investigative research into the assassination. But it would not be until almost thirty-six years after the assassination that he would discover starting new evidence in the case. Evidence helping him to uncover the true facts surrounding President Kennedy’s assassination and presented for the first time in his book Backfire in Dallas.
